Creating Platform

There is an ancient Iriquois philosophy about how we are stewards of the future, that it is our responsibility to create with consideration for the future, honoring what's best to serve 7 generations beyond ours. This philosophy relates to nature but also to our philosophy, for each generation creates a platform from which the next generation builds or creates.

Today we are giving thanks for you, for the gifts you are brought here with, and how you use and teach with these gifts. We share our gifts and create a common thread with others with whom we have similarity and then cross path with others who we connect with, and this loop and crossing creates a stitch, carrying the theme of thread and sewing as we create something of significance by weaving both what we know and what we learn into the fabric of our lives. From this fabric is sewn the future.
